Coumidin Clinic

Coumadin (also called warfarin in its generic form) is a powerful but often life saving medication that prevents clots from forming in the heart chambers. It is used most frequently to prevent strokes in those patients with atrial fibrillation, and also for those with mechanical artificial valves. The clinic is under the medical direction of Dr. Vangrow and managed by Juia Flynn, RN.
